The 2011 IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas was overwhelming – cigars, cigars & more cigars (plus some accessories thrown in for good measure)… retailers & media discovering new products for their customers or readers… booth after booth filled with goodies waiting to be sampled…
One of the busiest booths was that of Drew Estate… Inside it was constantly packed with visitors checking out the latest products, line extensions and all the other cool stuff they packed into their limited space – like Jonathan Drew’s pimped out car, hand painted women’s shoes and cigar molds and of course all the wonderful DE goodness waiting to be ordered and shipped off to shops all across America (and other parts of the globe)…
Sitting front and center overlooking everything was Steve Saka, president of Drew Estate… from his command center he could oversee DE reps, talk with retailers and answer any questions needed… And that’s where I met Steve for an illuminating interview where he covered the unveiling of the new Undercrown line, the line extensions and additions to Liga Privada, the recently released “My Uzi Weighs A Ton” cigar, Acid & Joya De Nicaragua… Steve shared a lot of info…
The interview was fairly lengthy so it’s in two parts… Part I is below…
Enjoy!…
